Scouts is all about fun, challenge and adventure.
We are the UK’s biggest mixed youth organisation offering opportunities over half a million young people aged 6 to 25. We offer fun and challenging activities, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in our community.
What do Scouts do?
Scouts take part in a wide range of great activities as diverse as sailing, kayaking, abseiling, climbing, expeditions, photography and many many others. As a Scout there is something for everyone and it’s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, be creative and experience the wider world!
What do Volunteers do?
Scouting is only possible thanks to our amazing adult volunteers who support Scout groups in a wide range of roles from working directly with the young people to helping to manage the group as a trustee or looking after the finances as the treasurer. No-matter what your skills or experience Scouts can provide you with the opportunities and training to help you help us deliver everyday adventure to even more young people.
Think you’ve not got the time? No worries, you can give as much or as little as you want, there is still a role for you!
